This September, our CEO Charlie, Operations Director Richard, along with Mayur, Mark and Romeo from our Central Finance & Operations team will be undertaking the gruelling 55 mile cycle ride from London to Brighton. We are cycling to raise vital fund for our customer Norwood.
The team would warmly welcome any and all donations, large or small via the JustGiving page here.
Norwood have been providing life-changing services to thousands of people and their families every year for over 225 years.
They work hard to ensure that no one in the community has to face a crisis or disability alone, and they support the most vulnerable people to lead brighter lives.
Their services range from specialist social work support and counselling for children and families facing breakdown, mental health problems and crisis, to therapies and accommodation services for children, young people and adults with educational challenges, learning disabilities or autism.
In a time of reduced statutory funding, voluntary donations are now more precious to Norwood than ever before. It is only through your generosity that they can continue to provide invaluable support to thousands of people in the community.
The London to Brighton Cycle Ride Route
55 miles in total, the team will cycle from London, along quiet country lanes, passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs!
Starting on Clapham Common in London and journeying all the way to Madeira Drive on Brighton’s famous seafront, there are expected to be over 4,000 riders taking part.
